New 4BR articles

From the state of the brass band nation to iconic LP releases — 4BR has some pretty impressive new articles to look at...

4BR

With the regional contest s behind us for 2008 4BR has taken the opportunity to look back to recall the highs and lows of this years marathon event.

We have also tried to find out whether or not 2008 has been a year in which the state of the brass band nation has improved numerically too.

State of the Brass Band Nation

In two new articles 4BR has looked back at each of the 2008 regional events to recall what went on and also taken an extensive look over the past 26 years to see if the numbers of competing bands has shown if we are holding our own, or if we are in possible terminal decline?
