In announcing his passing hi website stated: "Robin was a valued professional and a much-respected member of the community. His dedication, integrity and commitment to those he worked with will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him."
Musical vision
Tredegar Band MD, Ian Porthouse added: "'Brass Odyssey' was one of the most challenging recordings we have made, but also one of the most enjoyable in exploring Robin's musical vision.
We found him to be one of the most engaging and interesting composers we have worked with. He was very open about his health issues but always hugely supportive of our own musical ethos which he felt did justice to his music. His passion to get the recording of 'Brass Odyssey' done was remarkable."
