The City of Birmingham Band unveiled their new look for their recent concert appearance at Birmingham Botanical Gardens in the heart of the West Midlands.
The band stated that the uniform rebranding marks a significant milestone, reflecting its updated approach to its music making and community engagement.
The waistcoats, made by Centre Stage in Blackburn, retain the band's logo with the backs reflecting their traditional stage jacket colours which were last replaced in 1994.
Important decision
Band spokesperson Barbara Dunscombe, who has played BBb tuba for the last half century was certainly pleased with the new look. She said: "It was an important decision made to keep the Teal colour identity in the new design.
It represents the band's heritage and enables us to continue to be recognised within in the local community."
