Forest of Dean Music Festival

Lots to enjoy at the forthcoming Forest of Dean Festival — with Philip Harper the man to impress the most!

The 4th Forest of Dean Music Festival, incorporating the Forest of Dean Solo, Duet, Quartet and Ensemble Championship will be held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July at Lakers School, Coleford, Gloucester.

Brass classes

Brass classes will be held on Sunday 5th July and the adjudiacators are Philip Harper and Sean O'Neill.

Closing date

The closing date for entries for the brass classes has been extended to the 31st May as some bands have been having problems with meeting the 1st May deadline due to the recent Easter holiday.

Other classes

All other disciplines (piano, recorder, strings, woodwind and vocal) and the Forest of Dean Young Musician of the Year Competition will take place on Saturday 4th July and will be adjudicateed by Ms Alison Procter. The closing date for these classes remains the 1st May.
