Saturday afternoon at the RNCM International Brass Band Festival sees the return of Tredegar Band conducted by Ian Porthouse in a typically adventurous programme of repertoire and their usual partnership with a world class brass performer — this year in the form of French Horn star Ben Goldschedier.

We caught up with Ian to find out more about their programme of music — from Judith Bingham's 'Prague' to the world premiere of 'Homage to Julian Assange' by Ed de Boer.
