BBE boosts member services with project evaluation support

A new initiative from Brass Bands England will help bands with their ongoing fund raising projects.

Fundraising
The initiative is aimed at giving bands further fund raising help and advice

Brass Bands England (BBE) has launched a new project evaluation initiative to offer support bands to be able to operate at their best by learning from the successes and challenges of their projects.

The offer, which consists of online training, 1:1 consultation and an optional independent project analysis, will focus on demonstrating impact and improving efficiency in project planning and delivery.

Support

Project Evaluation Support will sit alongside BBE's existing Fundraising Service, which offers funding application review and bid-writing support. The service has secured over £156,000 since its launch in 2022.

Evaluation services will be led by BBE's Fundraising Manager, Beth Lambert who told 4BR: "I see the individuality that separates each band and that's why we've structured this bespoke service to cater to your own specific funding needs.

Whether you need some help in pinpointing ideal funders, creating a new project, or ensuring the longevity of your band; the solutions we've developed will be tailored to suit you.

I've seen so many amazing projects since I started this position and there's much learning to be had. I hope that the addition of an evaluation element to the service will help bands to continue to operate at their best."

Beth added: "There's nothing I love more than seeing your projects come to life. If you're unsure where to start — book an appointment with me and let's have a chat!"
