Still time to join tuba play day in Edinburgh

Why not take your tuba and join the musical fun at the Scottish International Tuba Festival (SITF) Play Day later this month.

Scottish tuba
The festival ends with the Play Day in Edinburgh

There is still time to sign up for the Scottish International Tuba Festival (SITF) Play Day.

It comes at the end of a four-day course at St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh (July 24th — 27th) which has been aimed at developing the skills sets required to become a professional player — from performance and pedagogy to innovation and promotion.

Packed day

It is being led by Mark Reynolds, Danielle Price and John Whitener and will be rounded off with the SITF Play Day followed by the final concert on Saturday 27th July at Edinburgh's historic Canongate Kirk.

The Play Day will, according to the organisers, be "a day packed full of playing, workshops and masterclasses".
