A shipment of 18 donated musical instruments and a variety of other musical and social resources recently arrived in Nairobi for distribution to Salvation Army Corps in rural communities as part of the Kenya Trust project.
The Kenya Trust collects serviceable instruments from generous donors in the UK who no longer require their use. They are then transported by the organisation and placed with Kenyan Corps in greatest need.
Donation
A spokesperson told 4BR: "The number of potential brass players in Kenya far outweighs the number of available instruments.
If you have a loved but under-used brass instrument that you would like to have a second life then please consider donating it to The Kenya Trust, and we will get it to people who are ready and waiting to learn to play.
What better way of encouraging the music we love around the world?"
