Since the return of Lee Skipsey as Musical Director to City of Bradford Band, the Yorkshire First Section contender has welcomed six new players to the ranks.
Unity
Speaking to 4BR a spokesperson said the organisation was now looking forward to their Huddersfield appearance on 'Introduction, Elegy and Caprice' with "a sense of unity and camaraderie".
The band who recently said a fond farewell to soprano player Louie Anderson who returned to his roots at Rothwell Temperance were thrilled to see the return of Dale Garner to the role — one that he has filled in enjoyable tenures at both Hepworth and Grimethorpe Colliery.
He previously played with City of Bradford on their Albert Hall National appearance in 2017.
Thrilled
The spokesperson added: "We are thrilled to welcome back Dale. He has everything needed in a top class soprano player — sound, technique and temperament, and we are sure he will show that and more as we look to claim our place at Cheltenham later in the year."
