I couldn’t think of a more inspirational player to have around the young people. Roger is not just a great cornet player, he is a super musician and someone for all young musicians to look up toAlex Francis
Team up
Roger will team up with former pupil and Brighouse & Rastrick cornet player Alex Francis, who is Head of Brass and Woodwind for the Music Service.
He told 4BR: "I was delighted that Roger was able to be guest soloist at this very special and exciting event. I couldn’t think of a more inspirational player to have around the young people. Roger is not just a great cornet player, he is a super musician and someone for all young musicians to look up to."
