SWBBA launches Entertainment Festival event

Bands are being offered the chance to showcase their entertainment programmes in a festival environment in Torquay.

The event will be held in Torquay on 12th July

Entries are now open for the South West Brass Band Association's (SWBBA) inaugural 'Entertaining Brass' event — a festival aimed at bands wishing to simply provide audiences with a great day packed with brass band concert programmes.

Non competitive

A totally non-competitive event, it will be held on 12th July 2025 at the Upton Vale Church in Torquay, promoted and organised by the South West Brass Band Association.

There will be a maximum of 15 entry spots available to bands form the South West 'Area' with each delivering a 25-minute own choice entertainment program to what is hoped will be a packed hall.

The day will start at 10.00am
