Change to LBBA Contest date

The popular Leicestershire BBA Contest will now take place on Sunday 26th October.

4BR has been informed that there has been a change to the date of the popular Leicestershire Brass Band Association (LBBA) Contest.

Due to circumstances out of the organisers control the event will now take place on Sunday 26th October at the same venue at Loughborough Grammar School.

Best option

In a statement they said: "The committee have discussed the options available to us and have decided that this venue suits our requirements well. Finding a new venue with the same facilities would be near impossible and so, the committee feels that the best option is to accept the date change proposed by the school.

For that reason, the new date for the LBBA contest 2025 will be held on Sunday 26th October 2025."
