There is still time for bands to register to compete int the brass band competitions of the 2022 National Eisteddfod of Wales.

The televised event is returning after a two-year absence in Tregaron, Cardiganshire from 30th July to 6th August.

The brass band competitions take place on Saturday/Sunday 30th & 31st July.

The Eisteddfod Committee hopes to welcome bands from all over Wales to compete on the stage of the festival.

The first prizes in these sections are £500, with podium prizes of £300 and £200 respectively.
