Jonathan Bates is set to become the first tenor horn player to be invited as a guest artist to the globally renowned International Tuba & Euphonium Conference (ITEC).
The event is held at the University of Iowa in the USA in May and will see the Foden's solo horn player team up with the Fountain City Band to give the world premiere of a 27-minute duo concerto for tenor horn and euphonium entitled 'Zodiac'.
It's been composed by Emmy award winning composer Anthony DiLorenzo, whose notable works include the film trailers for blockbusters such as 'Toy Story', 'Final Fantasy' and 'The Simpsons Movie'.
