All Brass Band Radio: August 2018
All Brass Band Radio continues to go from strength to strength with over 100 new tracks added to the revised play list during the past month.
Over the last 16 years Dr Jim Fox has brought the sound of brass to listeners all over the world and the unique voting system he implements means that the playlist reflects up to date choices and tastes.
Listeners have the option of voting on the track from 1 to 5 stars, and at the end of each month the votes are tallied using some unique rules to ensure there is also variety in styles and bands.
All Brass Radio buys some of the very latest CD releases and welcomes a number of donations from bands and individuals.
There are now around 400 tracks to choose from ensuring listeners have to chance to hear the very best bands playing some wonderful music.
One of the newcomers to the list this month is the classic march 'Colonel Bogey' in a special rendition by the massed bands of Cory, Fairey and Scottish Coop along with the Corps of Drums from Her Majesty's Royal Marines.
