All the final preparations of the competing bands on Philip Sparke's 'Music of the Spheres' test-piece have just about done ahead of the 172nd British Open Championships at Symphony Hall this weekend.
The contest starts at 10.00am prompt so please make sure you give yourselves plenty of time to get to the hall, go through security if you are bringing bags, buy a programme (or download the digital version), souvenir score and have a quick look around the trade stands.
Tickets
As of this morning there are just 4 tickets left in the stalls, 5 in the Circle (limited view) with the remainder of just on 100 in the Grand Tier. These are usually snapped up on the day so make sure you book yours in advance.
The draw will be published as soon as the three adjudicators are in the box (around 9.40am).
