Following the success of this year's event, early details have been released of the 2016 Bolsover Summer School.

Led by stars Brett Baker, David Thornton and Joseph Cook, the 2016 Summer School has be designed to produce a format that organisers believe will be even more attractive to delegates.

Increased focus

As always there will be the highly popular repertoire classes whilst there will be an increased focus on areas such as 'Performance Etiquette', 'Small Ensembles', 'Practice Regimes' and 'Musical Direction', as well as the return of the successful tutor concert.

Exciting new repertoire will be mixed with classic and popular music which will see the band work and perform a new commission from the pen of talented composer Steven Ponsford, as well as feature music by the great Eric Ball and delve into the fantastic musical genres of composers such as Irving Berlin.
