The 14th Borders Festival of Brass will take place between the 7th September and the 26th October this year.
Showcase
The popular Borders-wide event is a showcase of music, entertainment and fun and is held in association with the Scottish Borders Brass Band Association (SBBBA).
The Festival will see ten events organised by each member band and will include several concerts, a long-established solo and quartet competition, a youth band contest and a brass and percussion workshop for school children.
Delighted
Borders Association Chairman, Alan Fernie told 4BR: "We are delighted that the Festival of Brass is set to continue again this year. Bands in the Borders work very hard within their local communities and the Festival is an excellent example of that."
