Camborne Brass has launched a fundraising campaign following a recent break-in at its bandroom headquarters which saw vandals cause extensive damage.

Significant damage

In launching their Crowdfunder campaign the band's MD, Alan Pope BEM stated: "We are deeply saddened to share that our bandroom was the subject of a serious break-in. The building was forcibly entered, with windows smashed to gain access, causing significant damage to the building and items inside."

He added: "Our band is a proud part of the local community, and our bandroom is at the heart of what we do. It provides a place for people of all ages to come together through music, while our beginners' group helps introduce young people to brass music and the wider banding community."

Enhance security

The funds will be used to enhance the security of the bandroom, so that the band can continue their music making.

Alan concluded: "Any donation, however large or small, will make a genuine difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing our appeal can help us reach even more people.
