Boscombe six grand raise

Boscombe Salvation Army Band and flugel star Zoe Hancock help to raise £6000 for a fantastic charity.

The recent Gala Concert given by the Boscombe Salvation Army Band and featuring star flugel player Zoe Hancock has raised the sum of £6,000 towards the work of the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust.

Tribute

The concert also saw the band pay tribute to the memory of former players Ged Whittingham and Bill Nimmo in what was a night of high quality brass playing led by Bandmaster Howard Evans and featuring the Tredegar Town Band flugel star.
