The National Youth Brass Band of Scotland has announced that Paul Lovatt-Cooper has been invited to join them as guest conductor for this year’s course.
The August residential course will see around 150 young brass and percussion players gather at the University of St Andrews in Fife.
Compositions
The course will be led by Musical Director Richard Evans, who will be assisted by Brian Taylor, Archie Hutchison, Lesley Howie, Lyndon Baglin, Mark Boyd, Les Neish and Mark Landon.
Paul will bring some of his latest compositions for the bands to perform, and as well as conducting, will give a composition masterclass to the students.
