The acclaimed summer concerts of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain Childrens Band and the senior National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain will be available to be enjoyed for free when they are broadcast on YouTube next month.
Childrens Band
The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain Childrens Band's 2026 Summer Concert can be enjoyed on Friday 11th September (7.30pm).
Led by guest conductor Katrina Marzella-Wheeler and featuring young euphonium soloist Angus Ritchie it was recorded at Taunton Brewhouse in July. Entitled 'Disruption: The Sounds of Change' it featured works from Fredrick Schjelderup to Peter Graham, Liz Lane to Errollyn Wallen.
Youth Band
The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain's Summer Concert can be enjoyed from Friday 18th September (7.30pm).
It was recorded at The Forum, Bath in August, where guest conductor Lieutenant Colonel Lauren Petritz-Watts led a programme entitled, 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' — and featured world premieres of 'Machine!' by Simon Dobson and 'In Memoriam: E.H.' by Martyn Brabbins.
There will also be the opportunity to hear the remarkable talents of tuba soloist Ross Knight who wowed the audience with the Vaughan-Williams 'Tuba Concerto', 'Quicksilver' and his incredible encore of 'Fnugg'.
