Warringah Concert Brass has won the NSW Brass band Championships for 2009.

This win coincides with Warringah’s 30th year celebrations.

Steady improvement

In recent years Warringah has moved up from B Grade and steadily moved up the placings to take out their first A grade Championship.

Celebration

Music Director and foundation member John Saunders is thrilled with the result and expressed his thanks to the band for their hard work leading up to the event at a celebration function held after the win.

Australasian Open next

Warringah has now cemented its place in A Grade and are now preparing for the Australasian Open in October.
