This year the Tuckwell Brass Prize, held annually at the Melbourne International Festival of Brass, will be open to all brass solo instruments, ensembles and brass bands with no age limits.

The award will be a $10,000 cash prize, which is sure to attract many performers.

Adjudication will be by the faculty of MIFB 2009, and the first round will be via video submission.
