The details for this year's National Youth Championships at the Royal Northern College of Music on Sunday 5th April have been announced.

Co-operative to sponsor

The BFBB has announced that for the third year in a row, The Co-operative will sponsor the event which starts just after 9am and will be completed by 8pm.

New Training Section

This year for the first time, their is a Training Section in a new initiative to the contest.

With all the sections being re-structured, the Advanced Section will feature a commission by Paul Lovatt-Cooper entitled Skylines.

Doyle, Ibbotson and Marzella to judge

As is the norm at the event, all sections will have open adjudication and the judges have also been announced. Major Peter Parkes and Ray Farr will judge the Premiere Section whilst for the first time at the event, John Doyle, Michelle Ibbotson and Katrina Marzella will precide over the proceedings. Philip Harper, David Horsfield and Simone Rebello are the remaining adjudicators who will be in attendance.

Since last year's competition, the various sections have been re-structured and for the first time their will be a Training Section4BR
