Conductor David W Ashworth will be kept very busy indeed with the fast approaching Area Championships.

Hard at work

Presently he is hard at work directing his own band, Boarshurst Silver Band (Greenfield), as they prepare for the Third Section Area contest at the North West Area Championships at Blackpool's Winter Gardens on the 1st March.

Yorkshire

The following week, David turns his attention to conducting Wetherby at St Georges Hall, Bradford in the Third Section of the Yorkshire Area Championships on Saturday 7th March.

Round off

And to round his travels off, on the 13th March, Dave will travel to Aberdeen for a full week's intensive rehearsals with Granite City Brass prior to the Second Section Contest at the Scottish Area Championships in Dundee on the Saturday 21st March.
