Elite new band formed in Denmark

A new band of elite players has been formed in Denmark — Öresund Brass

A new and exciting brass band has been launched in Denmark.

Elite group

Öresund Brass Band is an elite group of the best brass musicians
the Öresund Region (Denmark/Sweden) has to offer, with members from
the Opera Orchestras in Copenhagen and Malmö as well as the Malmö
Symphony Orchestra and freelance players from both sides of the Sound.

Inaugural concert

Last Saturday the band held its inaugral concert, with a programme containing works by Philip Sparke, Holst, Wagner, Faure and Clarke. The band are now looking forward to their first competitive outing at the Danish Brass Band "Silkeblæs" Contest on the 28th February.
