British Open invites Brisbane XLCR

The British Open has announced the invitation of the current Australian and New Zealand Champions to the 2009 event.

The British Open has announced that they have invited Brisbane Excelsior, the 2008 champion band of Australia and New Zealand to compete at the 2009 British Open in Birmingham in September.

Extra dimension

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The four times Australian, and two time New Zealand champions have been invited to participate alongside the greatest of British bands."
