Top brass continues at Ipswich

The ongoing charity concerts in Ipswich will continue for yet another season.

The Ipswich Charity Concert Committee has announced details of its concerts for 2009.

The Fairey Band will appear at the Ipswich Corn Exchange in April, with Black Dyke in June.

Welcome back

Committee secretary, Tim Mutum told 4BR: "We are delighted to be welcoming back the Fairey Band, and are especially pleased that the Black Dyke Band will be appearing as the current Champion Band of Great Britain. We are also very grateful for continued financial support from Ipswich Borough Council for both concerts, and for the 19th successive year the East of England Co-operative Society will be the principal sponsor of our summer concert."
