The Motor City Brass Band (MCBB) from the metro-Detroit area in the USA, has received a grant of $10,000 from the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan (CFSEM).
Support
The grant will be used to support the activities of the Motor City Youth Brass Band (MCYBB), MCBB’s largest educational initiative to date.
"We are extremely grateful for this generous support from the Community Foundation," Stewart Hay, Board Chair of MCBB told 4BR.
"Support from the Community Foundation will provide after-school access to quality instruments, musical instruction and performance opportunities for area high school students."
