In 2006 David Childs performed as a guest artist at the Two Moors Festival Gala Concert in Cadogan Hall London. On that occasion he shared the stage with renowned cellist Julian Lloyd Webber and a whole host of other well known artists from the world of classical music.

This year David was once again engaged to perform at the celebrity event in London’s prestigious concert venue and home to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Cadogan Hall.
World stars
The concert featured stars from the world of opera including mezzo soprano, Yvonne Howard and soprano, Kathryn Harries, female concert pianists, Alison Farr, Alissa Firsova, Anna Tilbrook and Ingrid Surgenor, together with violinist Tamsin Waley-Cohen, flautist Jonathan Rimmer and harpist Harriet Adie.

Enhanced
In addition the concert was enhanced by performances from student artists of considerable talent.
During an evening of chamber music ranging from Schubert to Saint-Saens, and Bolling to Bartok, David performed Johan Nepomuk 'Hummel’s Fantasy' together with recital partner Harvey Davies.
World's finest
Former BBC presenter Stephanie Hughes introduced David to the stage as "...one of the finest brass soloists in the world" and he did not disappoint with a performance of rare musicianship and artistry.
Without the barrier of a music stand David performed from memory and delighted the audience with moments of serene lyricism and explosive virtuosity.
