Results: Fife BB Festival

There was a decent turnout of bands at Fife on the weekend as adjudicator Stan Lippeatt sorted out the best from the rest, with wins for Kingdom, Clackmannan, Johnstone, Coalburn and Inverclyde.

Kingdom

In the Championship Section it was Kingdom Brass who continued the good form that recently saw them come third at the Scottish Championships, as they took the top honours and the £200 top prize under Craig Anderson, whilst in the First Section, Clackmannan & District upped their form once again to take the first prize under Paul Kiernan.

Good form

Another runner up at the Scottish Championships, Johnstone, also topped the results table in the Second Section, whilst there was a fine return to form in the Third for Coalburn Silver who took revenge on many of their rivals who beat them into sixth place at the Scottish, to take the honours.

Shrugged off

In the Fourth Section it was another band hitting form in the shape of Brass Sounds Inverclyde as they shrugged off the disappointment of the Scottish Championships to record a fine victory.
