The organisers of the British Open has announced that there will be no replacement band for Sellers International at this year's contest.

Demise

A press release stated: "We regret the demise of the Sellers International Band after many years of great performances at the Open under the direction of Phillip McCann. After careful consideration it has been decided that they will not be replaced, in the Open, this will assist in the long term aim to reduce the numbers of bands."
