The Fairey Band has announced that Mark Bousie will be joining on solo euphonium after the North West Area Contest.

Lucky

Gary Parker told 4BR: "We have been lucky to have had the services of Steve Walsh for the past twelve months but due to family and increased work commitments he will be leaving us after the area. On behalf of everyone at Fairey’s I would like to thank Steve for the last year and wish him well for the future."

Gary added: "I would also like to welcome Mark to the band. I have known Mark for a long time now and he’s a great player and a great lad too, I’m really pleased that he’s joining our team."

He has got a lot to offer us — not only is he a great exponent of his instrument, he’s a true bandsman and a real team player. I’m sure he is going to have a long and successful time at Fairey’sMD Phil Chalk
