Last week, in between rehearsals, the historic Besses o'th' Barn bandroom was targeted by arsonists.

It is believed that the arsonist targeted the bandroom in Whitefield in the small hours of Thursday morning. A pallet was set fire against the back door of the band room.

Fortunately the door is fitted with a metal shield and apart from superficial damage and strong smell of smoke the band were lucky to get away with anything major.
