Fountain and Moore to showcase Langford Rhapsodies for free

The virtuoso soloists will join Fulham Band at Regent Hall to showcase the Gordon Langford rhapsodies

  James Fountain and Peter Moore can be heard for free

Fulham Band is looking forward to their concert at Regent Hall on Friday 16th October (7.30pm), as part of the Regent Hall Brass Arts Festival.

Joining them will be trombone soloist Peter Moore, and LSO principal trumpet James Fountain, in a concert which will include both the Gordon Langford trombone and cornet rhapsodies.

The London & Southern Counties First Section Champion will perform an eclectic programme featuring Peter and James, as well as works by Robert Farnon, Henry Purcell, and Luiz Bonfa's 'Black Orpheus', performed by the band's new principal cornet Toby Pringle.

Exciting programme

Musical Director Alan Thomas told 4BR: "I'm delighted that James and Peter have agreed to perform with us as part of this exciting programme. They are both musicians of the highest reputation and calibre, and the band is looking forward to rising to those high standards in accompanying them."

The Regent Hall Brass Arts Festival runs throughout the month, with a wide array of concerts which are free to attend.
