35 young players from 15 different countries will perform as part of the European Youth Brass Band (EYBB) in Linz this year.
Role
It will mark the 22nd edition of the ensemble that will play a highly visible role in promoting the event in the Linz region through to the final day of the championships on 26th April with a series of concert appearances and performances under the baton of MD, Karl Geroldinger.
The first rehearsal seat auditions will take place on 18th April before the players set to work on an extensive range of repertoire and a busy schedule. Their participation at the Championships will culminate with their part in the Saturday evening Gala Concert and Farewell Concert the following day.

Final Concert European Soloist Competition with Brass Band Fribourg, Brucknerhaus
Friday 24th April:
Opening Ceremony, Brucknerhaus
Saturday 25th April:
Grand Gala Concert and Award Ceremony at Brucknerhaus with Brassband Oberosterreich, and Diatonic Expeditions
Sunday 26th April:
Farewell Concert and Award Ceremony EYBBC 2026 at Brucknerhaus with Austrian National Youth Brass Band.
