Hammonds ready for Bantam of the Opera

The Hammonds Band will be featured live on Radio 2 this Friday with their performance alongside Bantam of the Opera on the Jeremy Vine Show.

This Friday, April 11th, the Hammonds Band will be joining the renowned 'Bantam of the Opera' performance group for a live broadcast on BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine Show.

It will form part of the 'Radio 2 Loves Brass' series which will be broadcast over the coming weeks.

Fantastic spotlight

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "We couldn't be prouder and are really looking forward to representing the banding movement for what promises to be he start of a fantastic spotlight on brass bands.

We will be performing a special arrangement written for the to perform together — so tune in and all will be revealed on Friday at noon."
