The BBC cricket commentator Jonathan Agnew is currently bringing the excitement of the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan and Dubai to radio and on-line listeners across the world.
However he is also mixing his commentating duties with musical pleasure as he has taken his euphonium along with him to keep his lip in.
Rekindled
The former England fast bowling test cricketer revealed last year that having played the tuba as a youngster, he rekindled the urge to play again after going to hear the Melton Band in their annual Christmas Concert.
Since then, he has talked openly about his renewed passion on BBC's Test Match Special broadcasts — and the challenges he has faced getting his playing up to scratch.
He has already taken his instrument on a tour to Pakistan where he occasionally accompanied the Barmy Army supporters in their daily rendition of 'Jerusalem' sung at the beginning of each day's play.
Hour a day
On this tour he is enjoying some down time between games by practising his euphonium for an hour each day.
However, his playing on this occasion hasn't inspired England though, as they were knocked out of the tournament.
Area miss
And whilst he made his competitive debut with Melton at the Leicestershire BBA contest last autumn, his ongoing BBC commitments mean that unfortunately he will not be able to take to the stage at the Midlands Fourth Section Area contest on Sunday 9th March.
