Repeat youth success for Hepworth

Hepworth Band will once again team up with HD9 Youth Brass to help inspire the next generation of brass band players.

Hepworth
The Hepworth players have enjoyed passing on their tips to the next generation

Following the success of its inaugural youth brass day, the Hepworth Band has announced its next youth brass event in partnership with HD9 Youth Brass.

Mother's Day

It will take place on Friday 28th March, where HD9 Youth Brass will host an evening rehearsal and workshop at 7.00pm working with mentors from Hepworth Band.

On Sunday 30th March, the two bands will then come together for a massed band rehearsal and a special 'Mother's Day Gala Concert' at The Civic, Holmfirth (3.00pm).

The event, supported by the Hinchliffe Mill Brass Band Music Charity, is free and open for any young players to attend.

Great time

Hepworth MD Ryan Watkins told 4BR: "We're really excited as we had such a great time with our friends from HD9 Brass at our first youth brass day working with all the young players.

We're grateful to the Hinchliffe Mill Brass Band Music Charity for supporting the event and for helping us to encourage and develop the next generation of young brass and percussion players".
