One of the most famous melodies ever written by Beethoven has now been arranged to provide an entertaining musical contrast for any concert.
This contemporary take on Beethoven's 'Fur Elise' arranged by Olaf Ritman is sure to be popular with players and audiences alike as it takes a new look at the 'Bagatelle No. 25 in A Minor' written around 1810.
Even to this day it is still unknown who Elise was, with at least four theories claiming to tell the story.
Upbeat
The work follows the trend of upbeat 'classics' such as Ray Farr's famous arrangement of 'Toccata in D Minor' and more recently Philip Harper's take on Vivaldi's 'Winter' from 'The Four Seasons'.
