The American tenor horn star Patrick Oliverio has become a Besson Artist.
The solo horn player of Fountain City and a member of Brass Band of Battle Creek has established himself as one of the lading exponents of the instrument in the USA brass banding movement. He is soon to release his debut solo CD.
He told 4BR: "I'm so excited and honoured to be joining the Besson family. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to represent a brand that is synonymous with excellence in the brass band community."
Thanks
He added: "I want to thank Owen Farr for all his guidance in developing my playing as well as my family and members of Fountain City and Brass Band of Battle Creek.
The move comes at the perfect time as I prepare to work on entirely new music for the instrument and piano for a CD entitled 'Equinox' which will feature works by Lucy Pankhurst, Tom Davoren, Andrea Hobson, Dorothy Gates, and Joel Collier."
