Conference
As part of BBE's commitment to wider national advocacy and inclusion, a free 'Young Person Ticket', which is available to everyone under the age of 23, can also be booked for the BBE Brass Band Conference.
This year it takes place on Saturday 7th October at the University of Huddersfield, with the theme of 'Heritage and Innovation', and will see a keynote speech given by award winning composer Gavin Higgins.
Important
Speaking about the initiatives, Kenny Crookston, CEO of Brass Band England told 4BR: "It's especially important to us that we're able to give young players the opportunity to share their views.
I hope that our free Under 23 Conference tickets will enable people to join us to network, participate in workshops, and be part of the conversation. Anyone in full-time higher education can also join BBE as a member, to access our full range of support at this important stage of their banding journey."
