Brass bands across the UK performed in community Services of Remembrance on the weekend.
It remains one of the most important events they undertake, with players of all ages and at all levels taking part.

Once such is Sandhurst Silver Band who has traditionally maintained a strong connection to the Armed Forces. Once again this year a number of their players took part.
Principal cornet Mark Dallas was seen performing 'The Last Post' across the nation as he was asked to play before the Reading versus Preston North End football match that was broadcast live on Sky television.
Meanwhile, assistant principal cornet Steve Clapton was also asked to perform at a live broadcast football game — this time at the Bracknell Town versus Ipswich Town FA Cup match
Tuba player Paul McGlaughlin took to the cornet to perform 'The Last Post' in Chepstow, whilst recent arrival Jim Brennan performed at Reddam House School in Wokingham.
On Remembrance Sunday itself repiano player Siana Rouse performed 'The Last Post' for the local community in Sandhurst, whilst Damon Emes, carried out the duties for Workingham Borough Council.

Sandhurst Community Brass principal cornet player, Gaynor Popplestone took part in the Remembrance Service in Crowthorne, whilst 12 year old Beginner Training Band player Matthew Dewhurst performed at his local Arborfield Church.
A band spokesperson told 4BR: "We are very proud to be able to provide players to undertake this service, and we are sure every band in the country is the same."
