The University of Huddersfield is holding a special Open Day on Saturday 8th October to help future students find out more about the music courses it has to offer — and especially those that cater for brass and percussion players.
The University has gained growing reputation for the way in which it tailors its approach to meet the needs of its brass and percussion students, spearheaded by tutors such as Jonathan Beatty, Kirsty Abbots, Dan Thomas, Les Neish, Jim Fieldhouse and Les Storey.
Beacon
The University of Huddersfield Brass Band has become a beacon of musical achievement and excellence, whilst students are actively encouraged to further enhance their student experience by linking up with progressive bands in the Huddersfield region.
All you have to do is book your place and come along.
A spokesperson told 4BR: "The Open Day is a great way to find out more — ask questions and get a feel for a university that is friendly, ambitious and aims to develop musical talent to the full. Come along and don't miss out on what we have to offer."
