Dutch National line-ups completed

The line-up of bands, test-pieces and now judges has been confirmed for the forthcoming Dutch National Championships in Utrecht.

Tivoli
  The event will be held at the TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht

The adjudication panel for the forthcoming Dutch National Championships in Utrecht have been announced.

The event will take place at the TivoliVredenburg complex on the weekend of the 28th & 29th October. The action will start on Friday 28th October at 2.30pm with the opening of the 41st event.

Competitors

11 bands will compete in the Fourth Division performing 'Argos' by Stephen Hodel, followed by the 7 bands in the Third Division tackling 'Albinus Variations' by Etienne Crausaz'.

Saturday sees the 7 bands in the Second Division compete at 10.00am on 'Sanctuary!' by Daniel Hall, followed by the 7 contenders in the First Division performing 'James Cook-Circumnavigator' and the 9 bands in the Championship Division tackling Jan de Haan's new commission, 'Redbad'.

Sherborne Town Band

April 24 • Exciting opertunity for a principal cornet player to lead our friendly band. We also would be excited to hear from percussionists with experience in tuned percussion and kit. We are currently in the Championship section and have a busy schedule in 2024.


CLEETHORPES BAND CIO

April 24 • We have lots of cornets and horns but a little thin in the bottom end. Our players are happy to move around to help new players join the band, if you play baritone, euph or bass please give us a try. We rehearse every Sunday and Thursday at 7.30pm
