The city of Birmingham has ensured that its residents, workers and visitors know exactly what the main musical attraction in town this weekend is — with the help of huge advertising display that cannot be missed at its busy Holloway Circus roundabout.
Although the official opening ceremony isn't until Friday 29th April at 5.00pm at Symphony Hall, the music making has already started with the European Youth Brass Band giving a concert with the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Brass Band on Tuesday evening under the direction of Florent Didier and Ian Porthouse.
The band will now head to Falliborne Academy in Macclesfield this evening (Wednesday 27th April) for a concert with English representatives Foden's Band in what is sure to be another great evening of music making.
All this and the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain will join forces with the Band of HM Royal Marines at Birmingham Town Hall on Thursday evening (28th April).
Keep you eyes peeled...
