The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators (AoBBA) has announced the appointment of Brett Baker as Vice-Chair of the organisation.

The international trombone soloist has gained widespread adjudication experience spanning more than twenty years including at the National Championships in The Netherlands, Switzerland and New Zealand, the Flemish Open, Siddis in Norway, and many competitions in the United Kingdom including the Regional Championships, National Youth Championships, Scottish Open, Spring Festival, Butlins, Bolsover and Wychavon.

Brett takes over the role from Sheona White who was appointed Chair at the organisation's AGM earlier this year.

Delighted

Commenting on his appointment, Brett said: "I am delighted to have been appointed Vice Chair of AoBBA, working closely alongside Sheona and the team to deliver making the association even more accessible to bands and continuing to work with other band associations."

The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators would like to congratulate all bands that took part in the recent Regional Championships and welcome the return of the Regionals and other competitions.
