Welsh champion cancels concert performance

Tredegar Town Band has cancelled its concert that was to be held in Penarth this weekend due to the ongoing advice over the Coronavirus pandemic

The Welsh champion was due to perform in Penarth on the weekend.

Double Welsh Champion Tredegar Town has announced that they have cancelled their forthcoming concert due to be held on Saturday 21st March at Stanwell School in Penarth.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "We have monitored the official Government advice in respect to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Following today's announcement (Monday 16th March) and with the health care of players and supporters our priority, we have therefore taken the decision to cancel the concert.

Anyone who has purchased a ticket will be refunded or they can exchange them for raffle tickets which support our future endeavours — including fundraising for the 2021 European Championships in Sweden.
