Martyn Patterson has become a Yamaha International Performance Artist.

Martyn Patterson, the solo euphonium of Welsh Champion Tredegar has joined the international line-up of Yamaha 'Performance Artists'.

"I'm thrilled to be a Yamaha artist and to perform on the Yamaha Neo instrument. It is the perfect instrument for me and its flexibility means that it sounds at home on the immensely varied repertoire that Tredegar performs.

It's superbly designed and made and has made a huge boost to my performance levels."

The former, Tongwynlais Temperance, Cory and Desford player has been enjoying life with the Welsh Champion and the Royal Welsh Regimental Band.

Exciting

"Tredegar is such an exciting band to play for — and it's their musical outlook that is so attractive for a player like me.

The band has given me so many high profile opportunities that has also led to this link with Yamaha which also opens up new opportunities."
